The Acu-Rite 00526W Character Thermometer includes an enhanced 433 MHz strong signal in the sensor to work through walls and long distances (up to 165 feet). The indoor and outdoor temperature in either degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius (user-selectable) is displayed on the screen along with a boy or girl icon that shows you how to dress for the weather. A programmable temperature alarm with a high or low alert lets you set the threshold temperatures you desire.
